Classroom Communication

Every month you, like all our parents, will receive a lesson plan that allows you to see what you child is doing each day. The lesson plan helps parents prepare children for each day’s discovery and adventure. It also serves as a vehicle for parents to ask questions about the child’s experience. That could mean making sure the toddler has something to yellow to wear on yellow theme day or asking about to see the painting made with a toothbrush.

Our goal is to keep parent and their children connected to further nurture their relationship and the child’s capabilities.

Teachers also maintain contact with parents through phone calls, written notes and personal discussions, as needed. This might include a behavioral issue, a health issue, or to clarify a need the child discussed during the day.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Twice a year, as parent a parent, you will be invited to a conference with your child’s teachers and the school director for an assessment of your child. We think you will be pleased at how well the staff appreciates your child’s unique traits. You will also have a chance to discuss your child’s current needs and how to build on their strengths. To find out more about this special focus for your child’s growth, feel free to contact our office for details.
